Build the stack with us

We are building chip design tools, verified AI and a GPU, as one stack. We are hiring experienced engineers who want to own a core part of it from day one.

STX-EDA-2614Stalnix EDA

Senior EDA Software Engineer

  • Experience: 6+ years
  • Chennai (Navalur), on-site
  • Full-time

Build the core engines of Stalnix EDA, our RTL-to-GDSII chip design platform: simulation, synthesis, static timing, place and route, and sign-off.

Job description

What you will do

  • Design and build core engines in one or more areas: HDL simulation (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL), logic synthesis, static timing analysis, placement and routing, or sign-off checks
  • Write fast, memory-efficient C++ for large designs, with Python for flows and tests
  • Build HDL parsers, elaboration and netlist data structures
  • Verify the engines against open-source RTL and reference designs, and compare quality of results with industry tools
  • Work with our AI team on the EDA co-pilot and with our GPU team, who design with the tools every day

What you bring

  • 6+ years developing EDA software: simulators, synthesis, STA, place and route or verification tools
  • Strong modern C++ (17/20), data structures and algorithms: graphs, SAT/BDD, optimisation
  • Solid digital design knowledge: HDL semantics, timing, standard cells
  • Debugging and profiling large codebases on Linux, with Git

Good to have

  • Contributions to Yosys, Verilator, OpenROAD, OpenSTA or Icarus Verilog
  • Formal and equivalence checking
  • Liberty, LEF/DEF, SDC and GDSII formats
  • Parallel and multi-threaded computing

STX-AI-3907Stalnix Super Intelligence

Senior AI Engineer, LLMs and Verification

  • Experience: 5+ years (2+ with LLMs)
  • Chennai (Navalur), on-site
  • Full-time

Build Stalnix Super Intelligence, an AI assistant that verifies and fact-checks every answer before it reaches the user, and shows its sources and checks.

Job description

What you will do

  • Build the assistant on large language models: retrieval, tool use, reasoning and long-context handling
  • Design the verification pipeline: claim extraction, evidence retrieval, claim checking against sources, and clear signals when evidence is thin
  • Build evaluation suites and metrics for accuracy, hallucination and source attribution, and run them on every release
  • Fine-tune and align models, and optimise serving for speed and cost
  • Work with the EDA team on the chip-design co-pilot

What you bring

  • 5+ years in machine learning engineering, including 2+ years shipping LLM applications
  • Strong Python and PyTorch
  • Retrieval-augmented generation, vector search and LLM evaluation in practice
  • Solid NLP fundamentals and the ability to read and apply research

Good to have

  • Fact verification or factuality research
  • Fine-tuning methods: SFT, preference optimisation, LoRA
  • Inference optimisation: vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, quantisation
  • Publications or strong open-source work

Senior GPU and AI Accelerator Design Engineer

  • Experience: 8+ years
  • Chennai (Navalur), on-site
  • Full-time

Define and design the microarchitecture and RTL of the Stalnix Accelerator, our GPU for AI and graphics, designed and verified end to end with Stalnix EDA.

Job description

What you will do

  • Own the microarchitecture and RTL of major GPU blocks: tensor and matrix units, compute cores, caches and memory hierarchy, memory controllers or on-chip interconnect
  • Write microarchitecture specifications and build performance models with the architecture team
  • Plan verification with the DV team, and drive timing, power and area closure
  • Use Stalnix EDA across the flow and give the tool team direct feedback
  • Take blocks from specification to tape-out

What you bring

  • 8+ years in ASIC RTL design, with GPU, AI accelerator, CPU or high-performance datapath experience
  • Expert SystemVerilog and strong computer architecture: SIMT, matrix engines, memory systems
  • Synthesis, STA and constraints, with at least one tape-out
  • Clear microarchitecture documentation

Good to have

  • UVM or formal verification
  • C++ or Python performance modelling
  • HBM, PCIe or CXL
  • Number formats for AI: FP8, BF16, INT8
  • Knowledge of GPU software stacks such as CUDA or ROCm
